The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced the first case of COVID-19 death in the country.
In a tweet on Monday, the centre said the victim was a 67-year-old man who returned to Nigeria following medical treatment in the UK.
“He had underlying medical conditions- multiple myeloma & diabetes & was undergoing chemotherapy,” it said.
