Former head of state, Yakubu Gowon, on Friday slumped during the funeral of late Major General David Ejoor in Ovwor-Olomu community, Ughelli South LGA of Delta State.
The funeral was also attended by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and former governor, James Ibori.
Gowon was taken into a special tent for emergency resuscitation.
Emergency ambulances were immediately driven to the tent’s entrance.
Moments later, Okowa and Ibori were seen coming out of the tent, an indication that Gowon had recovered.
