The House of Representatives has approved the sum of N30,000 as the new national minimum wage.
The lower chambers approved the new wage during plenary on Tuesday.
National Council of State chaired by President Muhammadu Buhari had on January 23 approved N27,000 as national minimum wage.
The lawmakers unanimously approved the N30,000 recommendation by the tripartite committee after the bill scaled the third reading.
