The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced it would include the candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State on the ballot paper.
This was contained in a statement on Friday by its National Commissioner and Chairman, Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye.
Mr Okoye said the electoral commission decided to include Zamfara APC candidates following a ruling delivered on Thursday by the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja.
He also said the commission had refused to include them in the ballot because of the “conflicting orders” of the Federal High Court, Abuja and the Zamfara State High Court on the primaries conducted in the state.
