Senator Bayo Osinowo, popularly known as Pepper, who represented Lagos East at the National Assembly, has died.
He was 64-year-old.
The federal legislator, though diabetic, is reported to have died of complications arising from coronavirus.
He died in one of the isolation facilities of the Lagos State Government.
Osinowo was a four-time member of the Lagos State House of Assembly before his election to the Senate.
He was elected a senator in 2019, replacing Gbenga Ashafa.
