Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, has sworn-in the former governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, as senator to represent Imo West.
Okorcha was denied access to the National Assembly on Tuesday as he was yet to be given his certificate of return by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The commission presented the certificate to Mr Okorocha later on Tuesday.
Okorocha had been in legal battle with INEC since elections were held in February after the electoral body held back the certificate on allegations that the returning officer claimed he declared Okorocha winner of Imo West senatorial district election under duress.
