Soji Jacobs, son of veteran actor Olu Jacobs, has debunked the latest round of rumour that his father is dead.
The younger Jacobs spoke to QEDNG publisher Olumide Iyanda on the phone on Sunday as the fake news of his father’s death was trending on social media.
According to Soji, “The family is tired of this rumour that keeps recurring every year.”
He added that he spoke with the publisher of one of the blogs that started the rumour on Sunday and the person dropped the phone as soon as he realised who he was talking to.
“We have been getting calls from all over the world from people who want to confirm if the story is true. My mum is on the phone right now answering multiple calls. This is annoying,” Soji further told the QEDNG publisher.
At the time of filing this report, the family was planning to go out with the 82-year-old to show that he is alive.
