The police have declared the senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Dino Melaye, wanted.
Melaye was declared wanted along with Mohammed Audu, son of former Governor Abubakar Audu of Kogi State.
Both men have been placed on Interpol watch list according to a statement signed by Kogi police commissioner, Ali Janga.
Melaye and Audu are accused of providing false information to the police in relation to an alleged attempt on the lawmaker’s life last year.
The police also on Wednesday confirmed the escape from custody of two suspects arrested and paraded last week for allegedly working with the duo.
