The Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissed the application for review of its January 14 judgement which sacked Emeka Ihedioha of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as Imo State governor and installed Hope Uzodinma in his stead.
The apex court ruled against the application six-to-one.
Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Muhammad, led the seven-man panel which heard and ruled on the application.
The court described Ihedioha’s application as an invitation to sit in an appeal over its judgement.
