Police have arrested WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange, at Ecuador’s embassy in London.
British police said on Thursday that Mr Assange was arrested following eviction from the Ecuadorean Embassy in London.
Assange has been living at the embassy since he applied for asylum there in 2012.
President of Ecuador, Lenín Moreno, said on Twitter that his country had decided to revoke the asylum status it had granted to Assange after “his repeated violations to international conventions and daily-life protocols.”
United States Justice Department has filed criminal charges against the WikiLeaks founder on the publication of classified documents.
