Actor Chimezie Imo, known for his role in the movie Breath of Life, has shared a video on his Instagram page showcasing his struggle with TikTok’s trending ABC challenge.
The video, posted on Sunday, reveals a humorous yet relatable side of the actor as he grapples with the challenge.
Dressed sharply in a blue suit and holding A4 papers, Chimezie begins the challenge but quickly stumbles.
“Asim ABCDEFGH, BCDEFGH, CDEFGH, DEFGH, FF,” he recited, making a mistake.
Determined, he tries again but fails once more, this time more visibly frustrated, hitting the desk with the papers.
Despite his efforts to stay calm, the actor continues to falter.
At one point, he removes his shoe and bites it, demonstrating his growing frustration.
However, his perseverance pays off as he eventually completes the challenge, celebrating with a jubilant dance.
This contrasts with the actor’s emotional victory in May when he won the Trailblazer Award at the AMVCAs.
Overwhelmed with gratitude, Chimezie dedicated the award to his fans and supporters, thanking Africa Magic for recognising his talent.
“I dedicate this award to my fans and supporters. I just want to say a very big thank you, Africa Magic, thank you for making me feel seen and recognising this gift God has blessed me with,” he said.
Chimezie also used the opportunity to inspire up-and-coming actors, emphasising the importance of persistence in the industry.
“Every actor, young, up-and-coming, should be one audition away from your big break,” he declared, encouraging fellow talents to pursue their dreams relentlessly.
