British high commissioner to Nigeria Catriona Laing has met the emir of Zazzau Emir Ahmed Bamalli.
Ms Laing said she was delighted to congratulate the monarch on his new appointment and hold talks on several issues including on development and support of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) in Kaduna.
“Honoured to pay respect to His Highness, Emir Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli @Zazzau_Emirate, the 19th Emir of Zazzau. Delighted to congratulate him on his recent appointment and share a wide-ranging discussion, including on development and @FCDO support in #Kaduna,” she tweeted on Thursday night.
The emir was presented the staff of office last November by Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai.
