Comedian Ayodeji Makun, popularly known as AY, on Wednesday wished his daughter, Michelle, happy birthday, saying the nine-year-old has brought him and his wife, Mabel, good luck.
The A Trip to Jamaica star, in a post on Instagram, said he had to fly home from a movie shoot in South Africa to be with his family for the birthday celebration.
“Heaven knows that I am one of those parents that are busy in their everyday lives and forget to share with those they love how much they mean to them.
“But today is a wonderful day to come home and celebrate what you mean to daddy,” he wrote.
He then went on to describe how broke he was before his daughter’s birth.
“Today, you have brought us goodluck (sic)”, he declared.
The 45-year-old Ondo indigene, who calls himself “local Warri boy”, added that Michelle has shown that a man with a lowly background can also be the father of an ‘Ajebutter’.
Michelle has been featured on Peak 456 comedy skit with her father; child comedian, Emmanuella, and Emmanuella’s uncle, Mark Angel.
Apart from celebrating his daughter’s birthday, AY returned to Nigeria to continue shooting his third movie, 10 Days in Sun City.
