Super Eagles forward, Brown Ideye, was full of praises for his wife, Damka, as their marriage clocked seven on Monday.
Ideye and his heartthrob tied the nuptial knots in 2010 while the 28-year-old was still plying his trade at modest French side, Sochaux.
Now, the ex-Ocean Boys man is alleged to be one of his country’s highest earners.
Ideye, whose union is blessed with two kids, Brown Junior and Andriy, is thankful to his spouse for coming into his life.
The forward currently plays in the Chinese Super League (CSL) after successful stints in Europe with Dynamo Kiev, West Brom and Olympiacos.
“My wife is like one of my managers. She is a really keen football fan, and she knew lots about the game before we met and got married,” the Tianjin TEDA forward said in 2014.
“She is always telling me how I performed and stuff like that after a match.”
He is the second Nigerian player to have marked their wedding anniversary over the last one month, joining Ogenyi Onazi.
