A bus under the Lagos State Government’s bus rapid transit (BRT) system on Monday collided with a private car at Ogolonta area of Ikorodu.
A source who was at the scene told Qed.ng that the BRT bus driver was trying to avoid hitting two children who were crossing the BRT lane.
The source said the bus swerved into another lane and ran into an oncoming vehicle.
While no life was lost, the driver of the private vehicle has reportedly been taken to the hospital for treatment.
Officials of Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) have arrived at the scene to control traffic, the source said.
