Gianluigi Buffon is due to announce his two-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain “imminently,” according to the Italian publication, Corriere Dello Sport.
The newspaper claims on Wednesday’s front page that Buffon already has the contract drawn up and just needs to put pen to paper.
It’s believed to be a two-year deal worth €16m in wages.
Buffon is already 40 years old and will be 41 in January 2019, but his performances this season convinced him to keep playing, albeit no longer at Juventus.
He is a free agent and wants to conclude his career in Ligue 1 with the reigning champions of France.
Thomas Tuchel will be glad to add the veteran to his squad as he aims to end the Parisians continental blackout.
PSG swept all domestic honours last season, yet parted company with Unai Emery who has since moved to Arsenal.
