First lady Aisha Buhari has begun presenting her biography Aisha Buhari: Being different at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Her husband President Muhammadu Buhari is absent as he is currently in London for a routine medical check-up.
The president is however being represented by his chief of staff Prof. Ibrahim Gambari.
The book written by the senior special assistant to the president on administration and women affairs, Hajo Sani, is being presented at the State House Conference Centre.
Present at the event are Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo; his wife, Dolapo; and a national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, who is chairing the event.
Others present include Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege; and Folorunsho Alakija who is the special guest of honour.
The royal fathers of the day are the Sultan of Sokoto Sa’ad Abubakar; Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi; and the Egbere Emere Okori Eleme, King Appolus Chu.
Mrs Buhari has maintained low profile since returning to Nigeria in March after six months out of the country.
