Mr Sanwo-Olu said he visited Tinubu to dispel rumour about the state of the former Lagos governor’s health, adding that he could not decide for Tinubu when to return to Nigeria.

In photos shared on Facebook by a presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, Tinubu was seen leaning on a walking stick as he posed for a shot with the president. The APC national leader later released a statement, saying Buhari was a caring leader.

Meanwhile, Tinubu’s media aide Tunde Rahman had in July debunked speculations that the APC leader was hospitalised.
“He is not in any hospital. He has no medical problem that would require hospitalisation. Yes, he is out of the country at the moment. He will be back shortly,” Mr Rahman said.
