President Muhammadu Buhari has felicitated with the Minister of State, Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, on his 50th birthday, congratulating him on his many years of contribution to the nation as a lawyer and human rights activist.
Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, conveyed the president’s message in a statement on Tuesday.
Buhari joined stalwarts of the All Progressives Congress (APC), family members, friends and professional colleagues of the lawyer in celebrating the landmark age.
The President acknowledged Mr Keyamo’s wisdom of making sacrificial choices that have brought recognition, awards, and most recently a ministerial position.
“Our faith in the younger generation is renewed seeing the way you have conducted yourself; making sacrifices for the greater good of the country, and humanity,” Buhari said.
He, therefore, urged Keyamo to remain focused on the broader picture of selfless service to the nation and to keep inspiring the younger generation to follow the same path of honour.
The President prayed that the almighty God would grant the minister longer life, good health and strength.
