President Muhammadu Buhari has transmitted his list of ministerial nominees to the Senate.
TheCable reports that the president named 42 nominees, unlike his first term when he appointed 36 ministers.
President Buhari is said to have sent the list late Monday via executive communication.
It is expected that the list would be read during plenary on Tuesday.
The Senate is also expected to proceed on a two-month recess on Thursday.
The online news platform said that contrary to speculations, only 12 ministers would be re-appointed from the former cabinet.
