President Muhammadu Buhari has met with seven governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) including Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna and Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti.
The others are Kashim Shettima of Borno, Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa, Yahaya Bello of Kogi, Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi, and Abdul’Aziz Yari of Zamfara State.
Buhari met them on Tuesday at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Reason for the meeting is unknown, but it may be connected with the governorship polls held last Saturday.
