President Muhammadu Buhari has met the President of the United Nations General Assembly, Maria Espinosa, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Ms Espinosa arrived at the villa at about 11:35 am on Tuesday.
She was led into the president’s mini conference hall for the bilateral meeting.
Espinosa arrived Abuja on Monday on a two-day working visit to Nigeria.
The two leaders will deliberate on improving relations between Nigeria and the UN.
Also on the table for discussion is insecurity in the Lake Chad Basin, development and environmental protection.
