Okorocha is currently under suspension from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The governor arrived at the State House at about 1 pm on Monday and headed straight for the president’s office.
Okorocha has been refused his certificate of return by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after returning officer for Imo West senatorial district said he pronounced Okorocha winner of the election under duress.
Although the purpose of the meeting is not publicly known, it is expected to be connected to the certificate of return.
There have also been reports that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has made plans to arrest Okorocha and some other governors for alleged misappropriation of funds after their tenures expire in May.
But EFCC has since denied such plan.
