President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday resumed at the office and met behind closed doors with the nation’s security chiefs.
The meeting, which was ongoing at the President’s office at the Presidential Villa at the time of filing this report, was one of the President’s first major engagement since returning to Nigeria on Saturday after a 10-day working holiday in London, United Kingdom.
Buhari left Nigeria on August 3, amidst speculation that he was going for health reasons
He had spent three days in London in May on medical grounds.
The President spent five months in England’s capital last year for the treatment of an undisclosed ailment.
Upon his return last year, the 75-year-old said that he had “never been so ill” and that his time in London involved blood transfusions and a battery of tests.
