Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, and All Peoples Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, Sunday met in London.
Tambuwal broke the news of the meeting in a message he posted on Twitter.
“I just had an hour-long meeting with @ThisIsBuhari in London. It was productive and lively. CHANGE is coming”, the Speaker tweeted.
He didn’t disclose details of the meeting.
Tambuwal is running for the governorship of Sokoto State on the APC platform.
Buhari on Saturday held a meeting with a former Prime Minister of Britain, Tony Blair, in London.
He met Mr. Blair in company with Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, and a former Governor of Kwara, Senator Bukola Saraki.
Buhari is expected to honour his speaking engagement at the Royal Institute Of International Affairs, Chatham House in London scheduled for Thursday, February 26.
