President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday trekked for about 800 metres from the Eid prayer ground to his private residence amidst cheers from hundreds of well-wishers.
Buhari, who returned from a 10-day vacation in London on Saturday, was greeted with chants of “Sai Baba” as he walked home.

The President had joined thousands of Muslims to say the Eid-el-Kabir prayer in Daura, Katsina State.
He arrived the prayer ground in the company of his aides and relatives at about 9.48 am.
Chief Imam of Daura, Safiyanu Dansanwai, led the prayer.
In his sermon, the imam stressed called on Muslims to pray for the peace, harmony and development of the country.
Buhari performed the annual sacrifice of slaughtering a ram immediately after the prayer session.
Emir of Daura, Farouk Umar was among the thousands of faithful at the prayer ground.
