President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has won the presidential election conducted in Zamfara State.
Returning Officer, Prof. Kabiru Bala, announced the results at the end of collation on Tuesday in Gusau.
He said Buhari polled 438,682 votes while Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) scored 125,423 votes.
The margin between them stands at 313,259 votes.
Prof. Bala also reported that many of the local government returning officers complained of attacks by hoodlums leading to the rejection of a total of 18,785 votes across the 14 local government areas of the state.
The returning officer will now proceed to Abuja for submission at the national collation centre.
