Special assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on digital communications, Bashir Ahmad, has welcomed a baby girl with wife, Naeemah.
Mr Ahmad announced that the child named Fatima was born on Friday.
“Alhamdulillah! Allah has blessed us again. Fatima Bashir Ahmad has majestically graced this world on this wonderful Friday,” he tweeted.
“May Allah grant her abundant knowledge and preserve her on the straight path and the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (SAW). Mun gode Allah!”
Ahmad wedded Naeemah nee Bindawa in Katsina State in September 2020.
Ahmad returned to Aso Villa in July after initially resigning from his role as Buhari’s personal assistant on new media.
The Kano native resigned to seek elective office. He however failed to secure the party’s ticket to seek election as a representative of Gaya, Ajingi, Albasu Federal Constituency.
