New media aide to President Muhammadu Buhari, Bashir Ahmad, has engaged songwriter and rapper, Skales, in a war of words on social media.
Skales had on Tuesday accused Bashir of being mute about the police who have come under heavy criticism lately. He also said he wished Bashir to experience what is “happening to the average citizen.”
In reply, Bashir also tweeted that he wished his family, the singer’s family, and family of every Nigerian well.
He also said he wished the singer well as he prepares to release his new single.
“Part of the price of being a public servant; anyway, I wish my family, your family and family of every Nigerian well. As you prepare to release your new single, all the best!” Bashir wrote.
Unsatisfied, Skales tweeted again on Wednesday morning, he said: “Happy new month google me I don’t clout chase lil girl keep enjoying ur dads money he prolly stole while in govt too but I wish u experience what the average Nigerians go thru dummy so u know how pained I am fucking idiot.”
