Halima, a daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari, was on Thursday called to The Bar at a ceremony in Abuja.
She joined 2,217 others including 80-year-old Pius Chuka Enebeli who made history as the oldest lawyer ever produced by the Nigerian Law School.
Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, and Halima’s sibling, Yusuf and Zahra, attended the ceremony.
Two ceremonies, presided over by the Chairman of the Body of Benchers, Chief Bandele Aiku, were held for the new lawyers at the International Conference Centre in Abuja.
Yusuf and Zahra Buhari recently graduated from the University of Surrey in the UK.
Halima is married to married to Bana Sheriff.
