One of the daughters of President Muhammadu Buhari has returned from self-isolation.
First Lady Aisha Buhari said on Thursday via Twitter that her daughter, whose identity is still unknown, had reunited with the family.
Mrs Buhari said she was glad to reunite with her daughter who had been in isolation for 14 days.
“It is a thing of joy & gratitude to Almighty God to reunite with my daughter after she had been in isolation for 14 days immediately she landed in Nigeria,” she said.
“While I’m wishing all those infected for a speedy recovery, I pray for the end of this pandemic.”
The president’s daughter went on self-isolation on March 19 following her return from the United Kingdom.
The UK is among the countries listed as high-risk zones with multiple cases of persons infected with the coronavirus.
