Zahra Buhari-Indimi, daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari and founder of ZMB Homes, visited Ajeri Camp in Maiduguri, Borno State for a humanitarian service on Sallah Day.
Thousands have been displaced in Borno since the fight against insurgency began years ago.
“We’re here to share some happiness and joy with the people in Ajeri Camp here in Maiduguri, Borno State,” the president’s daughter said in a video of the visit posted to Instagram on Wednesday.
“We’re super excited. Today we brought in some food and clothes from the babies to the older women and we shared some money which is the actual tradition of Eid here in Nigeria.”
Zahra thanked her donors for providing the resources to meet the needs of internally displaced persons.
“Thank you and thank you again for making this possible,” she wrote in her caption.
Meanwhile, Zahra’s brother, Yusuf Buhari, on Tuesday received a chieftaincy title in the Daura Emirate as the Talban of Daura.
