Yusuf Buhari, son of President Muhammadu Buhari, and his bride-to-be Princess Zahra Ado-Bayero have released pre-wedding pictures to the public ahead of their wedding on August 20.
The duo will be joined in holy matrimony in Kano. Top personalities and politicians are expected at the wedding.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of the emir of Bichi Nasir Ado-Bayero.
Some governors earlier visited the monarch’s elder brother who is the emir of Kano Aminu Ado Bayero to formalise plans.
In late July, the couple held a polo tournament in preparation for what is expected to be the wedding of the year.
Those who graced the polo tournament include the couple’s relatives, friends and the daughter of Bauchi State governor Fatima Zahra Bala and her husband.
Yusuf met Zahra at the time he studied at the University of Surrey, UK, the same school Zahra did her Architecture degree programme.
