Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka has visited his grandparents in Oro Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
A Twitter user revealed this on Tuesday with a photo of Saka and his grandparents.
“Bukayo Saka At ORO, Kwara State With Grandparents. Proudly Kwara,” the tweet read.
Last Saturday, Saka met with Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the Lagos House, Marina and gave the governor a signed jersey. Mr Sanwo-Olu revealed Saka was his favourite Arsenal player.
The 21-year-old spoke with the governor on different moments of his career and also congratulated Sanwo-Olu on his victory at the polls.
Saka expressed interest in collaborating with the governor and Lagos State to improve sports in the state.
The footballer visited Bariga, Somolu where his family grew up.
He arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos on Wednesday, May 31 following the end of the 2022/2023 football season for his club.
