Actress Bukunmi Oluwasina has revealed that she broke down in tears while watching the trending movie Jagun Jagun (The Warrior).
The movie produced by Femi Adebayo and co-directed by Tope Adebayo and Adebayo Tijani, features Lateef Adedimeji, Bukunmi Oluwasina, Muyiwa Ademola, Odunlade Adekola, Adebayo Salami, Yinka Quadri, Ibrahim Yekini Itele, Fathia Williams, Debo Adebayo among others.
It tells the story of ancient warriors, kings and a cruel warlord who feels threatened by a determined young warrior seeking only power and the love of a strong woman.
Bukunmi said in an Instagram post on Friday that she was only able to watch the movie from start to finish on Thursday night.
She said, “I finally successfully watched JAGUNJAGUN last night. Yeah, last night because, My husband noticed our little sunshine ALWAYS cry whenever she sees or hears me crying on screen. (Should we tell her😭🤔?) So needed to be sure she is asleep before watching.
“I watched as an audience, And I won’t deny the fact that I cried. And it started from the second scene of @aishalawal1 to the last scene of @iteledicon01 till the later parts of my scenes.”

Bukunmi urged the public to pay attention to lessons from the movie. For her, the pivotal message in the movie is that the world should give women more accolades.
Femi Adebayo has been getting commendations for the movie since its private screening in the Lekki area of Lagos on Wednesday and subsequent release on Netflix on Thursday.
The movie maker said he wanted to outdo his 2022 hit movie Agesinkole (King of Thieves) when he conceived Jagun Jagun.
