Singer, Burna Boy, has been accused of throwing shade at fellow singer, Davido, ahead of the release of the latter’s second studio album, A Better Time, in July.
The 28-year-old divided on opinion on social media with the now-deleted posts he shared on instastories on Friday.
After Davido shared his excitement over his upcoming album on Instatories writing, “July! ABT!”
Burna Boy wrote on the same platform, “July will be very funny and I shall laugh accordingly.”
He later added, “You cannot play football. Everybody knows say you cannot play football and you’re an embarrassment to the team but your daddy bought the football team.”
Davido has frequently been accused of using his billionaire father’s influence to get ahead in the music industry.
The ‘Fall’ singer has repeatedly denied the allegations.
Davido had earlier stated that he and Wizkid are the two greatest of all time.
“2 greatest of all time,” he captioned a photoshopped picture of the two of them together.
