Nigerian pop star Burna Boy has been nominated for the 2021 Grammy awards.
His 2020 album Twice As Tall will be competing in the Best Global Music Album category.
Others nominated in the category are Fu Chronicles by Antibalas, Agora by Bebel Gilberto, Love Letters by Anoushka Shankar and Amadjar by Tinariwen.
This is Burna Boy’s second Grammy nomination in two years.
The 29-year-old announced his latest nomination on Tuesday with the words “Another one.”
His 2019 album African Giant was nominated for the 62nd Grammy Awards, but lost to Angélique Kidjo whose Celia won the Global Music Album award for 2020.
South African comedian Trevor Noah will host the 2021 Grammy ceremony scheduled to hold on January 31.
