Singer, Burna Boy, has added his voice to the protest against rape, racism and other social injustices.
The 28-year-old, whose real name is Damini Ogulu, spoke about the issues on Tuesday when he joined the #BlackoutTuesday protest on Instagram.
“Rape and racial injustice are crimes against humanity, they are vicious, insidious and violent acts that no human should commit or commend…Black people deserve and require more than we’re currently getting! I implore you all to get involved, no contribution is too small, no platform is too small…,” he wrote.
Other celebrities who have condemmed the shooting of Tina Ezekwe, the rape and murder of Uwaila Omozuwa and the killing of American, George Floyd, include Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and Wizkid.
Others are Davido, Falz, yemi Alade and Joke Silva.
