Musicians Burna Boy, Teni, Wande Coal and Daddy Showkey have been announced as the performers at the 2018 GOtv Boxing Night 17 tagged Boxing Jams Music.
The musical acts will thrill fans with live performances of their hit singles at the event on December 28 at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) Lagos.
The 2018 edition will have eight bouts, the most in the event’s history.
The biggest fight is expected to be the West African Boxing Union (WABU) lightweight title clash between Rilwan ‘Real One’ Oladosu of Nigeria and Ghana’s Benjamin Lamptey.
The organizers of the event believe that the combination of boxing and music is the ultimate entertainment package for the festive season.
Managing Director of Flykite Productions Jenkins Alumona explained that security arrangements have been made to ensure fans feel safe in and around the event venue.
“There is nothing to fear. Since the event began in 2014, there has not been a single untoward incident in and around the venues we have used. This event is conceived with the family in mind,” Mr Alumona said.
