Former Senator, Buruji Kashamu, has lost his mother, Wulemotu Kashamu.
Mrs Kashamu died on Wednesday at a hospital in Victoria Island, Lagos.

The family has said that her remains would be laid to rest on Thursday (today) by 2:00 pm in Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun State, according to Islamic rites.
Kashamu is the second son and third child of the late Kashamu.
The annual Sallah party in the Kashamu family which was supposed to hold on August 12 has been cancelled to honour the deceased.

Kashamu used to represent Ogun East Senatorial District at the National Assembly.
He had a long battle with the PDP over the party’s governorship ticket for the 2019 elections.
