Fresh off her Queen Elizabeth freestyle release, female rapper, Butafly has hit the internet with the viral video of ‘Da Rant’; a song off her previously released ‘Butafly Rap Trap (BRT) Mixtape’.
The video was directed by StoneBlaze of Rap Hill TV in Lagos.
Although unsigned, the young woman, her publicists say, “continues to exert herself tirelessly and would like to use this opportunity to express her thanks to everyone supporting her.”
Qed.ng recalls that she was in the news in July following the release of a song titled ‘Gbalaga’. The mid-tempo song features DJ Humility, fellow female rapper, Splash, and reggae artiste, Brown Shuga.
Gbalaga is the Igbo word for ‘run away’.
Butafly used playful bars to deliver memorable verses in Afrobeat fused with reggae instrumental in that song produced by Prolishey.
