After qualifying for the World Cup, Nigeria’s Super Sand Eagles were humiliated 6-1 by Senegal in Friday’s CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations final.
This ensured the Terenga Lions successfully defended their crown.

Abu Azeez shot the Sand Eagles into an early lead in the third minute but a brace from Lansana Diassy and Amadou Ba coupled with strikes from Mbaye Diagne and Babacar Fall secured a second title for Senegal.
