American rapper, Cardi B, was the centre of attention at the 2019 MET Gala as she turned heads with a stunning bloody gown.
The 26-year-old rapper walked the Met Gala red carpet in the oxblood red gown with a large train that required several men to lift the gown.
The stunning gown was made by Thom Browne and it took 35 people more than 2,000 hours to finish work on it.
Tom Browne told the media: “I designed this dress for Cardi specifically because she has the ultimate beauty in a woman’s body, and that is what the dress is about for me: taking advantage of that beauty.”
Cardi B’s husband, Offset, took to Twitter to praise his wife for the innovative outfit: “WIFEY IS THE TRUTH SHE JUST KILLED THE MET GALA @iamcardib THAT DRESS IS 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 WOW !!!!!” he wrote.
This was Cardi B’s second appearance at the MET Gala.
