Media personality, Dele Momodu, has thanked his alma mater, St. John’s Grammar School Ile-Ife in Osun State for preparing him for the ‘arduous journey of life’.
The publisher expressed his appreciation on Wednesday when he thanked his former school mates for celebrating him as he turned 60 on Saturday.
”Many many thanks to the Old Students of St. John’s Grammar School Ile-Ife, my alma mater, for celebrating me on my 60th birthday. I’m very very proud to have been prepared for the arduous journey of life by this great Catholic school,” he wrote in the post shared on Instagram.
In order to observe the government’s directives on social distancing due to the coronavirus pandemic, Momodu hosted a virtual 60th birthday party via Zoom on Saturday.
Guests who called include Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, former Ghanaian president, John Mahama and Liberian vice president, Jewel Taylor.
Others are Rotimi Amaechi, Dino Melaye, Tony Elumelu, Banky Wellington, Sade Okoya, Larry Izamoje, Nduka Obaigbena, Alex Duduyemi, and Tunde Bakare.
They danced to music by K1 de Ultimate and Shina Peters.
