Cech has started just four Premier League games this term after losing his role as Chelsea’s No. 1 to Courtois following the latter’s return from a loan spell at Atletico Madrid.
The 32-year-old, who had been a regular at the club for 10 years, says he has accepted Jose Mourinho’s decision but is not very happy with it.
“I don’t know what the club’s idea will be. It looks like it works well with me and Thibaut as a duo,” he told Idnes. “But that can work for one season only. I don’t want another one like this.”
Cech has racked up just shy of 400 appearances for Chelsea since his £7million move from Rennes in 2004.
But the former Sparta Prague shot-stopper has struggled for game time at Chelsea this season.
He has been linked with a move to the likes of Real Madrid, Arsenal and Liverpool, but the goalkeeper says he would rather wait until the summer before thinking about where he will be playing his football next season.
“There always will be speculation. I leave it for the summer,” he added. “It will be important to sit down with the club and with the manager to consider all the pros and cons. We will see what will work out the best.”
Asked if he would like to move to Madrid, Cech replied: “When a specific offer comes I will consider it. There are offers one cannot turn down.”
