Celebrity auto dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna aka IVD has broken his silence following the death of his wife Bimbo Ogbonna.
Mrs Ogbonna is alleged to have died after suffering burns in a fire incident at their home in Lekki area of Lagos on Wednesday.
IVD broke his silence on Saturday via Instagram after being called out by his sister-in-law identified as Mama Jazzz on Instagram. Mama Jazzz accused IVD of being responsible for her sister’s death.
IVD released videos showing a lot of damage done to his house. In one of the videos, his late wife is heard saying “You’re a small man, HIV positive, ritualist.”
In another video he shared, IVD shows his bloody face, saying his wife gave him the cut. He said “all this will end today.”
The businessman also exchanged words with his mother-in-law in one of the videos. He urged her to give her daughter “proper home training” while the woman said IVD “destroyed my daughter’s destiny”.
IVD also shared a post where he disclosed that he would be hurt if his wife receives praises from guests at his funeral.
“My greatest hurts will be at my funeral, everyone will be like…Bimbo was such a fantastic woman,” he wrote.
The businessman has since deleted the posts on Instagram.
The tragic incident is happening two years after the couple publicly reconciled following allegations of domestic violence made against IVD.
