Celebrity photographer Wildshot has died in a lone car accident at the Wimpe area of Obio-Akpor Local Government Area in Rivers State.
The photographer was said to have rammed into a building while trying to overtake a trailer at about 9pm on December 8, reports The Nation.
It was gathered that Wildshot was at a gymnastic centre in Port Harcourt when his mother who lives at Rumuola called him to complain that she heard gunshots around her residence.
Wildshot, said to be his mum’s only child, left the gym immediately.
However, while trying to overtake a trailer he lost control of his car, rammed into a building and sustained serious injuries.
He was later confirmed dead at an undisclosed hospital.
“People tried to save him by taking him to three hospitals. By the time they got to the third hospital, he was confirmed dead,” a source from the gym was quoted as saying.
Wildshot’s death occurred a day before his birthday.
