Singer Yemi Alade has regretted how the public mocked American actor Chadwick Boseman following his sudden weight loss.
The singer made this known in a tweet on Saturday.
According to the ‘Johnny’ singer, social media users tend to criticise people not knowing exactly what they are passing through.
Yemi tweeted: “A lot of people on social media mocked Chadwick Boseman because of his ‘sudden weight lose’ not knowing he was battling stage iv Cancer! Can we be kinder with our words today? You don’t know what people are going through. Don’t be the mouth piece of the Devil.”
Chadwick Boseman died on Friday after battling with colon cancer for four years.
He played black icons Jackie Robinson and James Brown before finding fame as the regal Black Panther in the Marvel cinematic universe.
