Dewy Oputa, lesbian daughter of maverick musician Charly Boy, has replied critics of her sexuality.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, Dewy said she does not want fake love or support around her.
According to her, she has been with her girlfriend known as SJ for three years.
“So a person in my inner circle, that claimed to support me and the LGBTQ community in the past, now has an issue with me being public about my relationship,” she wrote on Thursday.
“They even had the audacity to tell me, “Stop posting pictures of you and THAT GIRL. It makes me uncomfortable!” (Now mind you, my partner and I have been together for almost 3 years.)”
Big Brother Naija star Uriel Oputa commented on Dewy’s post, saying she loves her.
“Dewy 😂😂😂 I’m laughing at the speed Darlington post 😂😂😂😂 we love your different. Free Dewy. Do you my cousin,” she wrote.
Dewy and SJ have a joint Instagram page where they share pictures of themselves and their trips.
Charly Boy says he is proud of his daughter and proud of her sexuality.
