Tammy Abraham and Ross Barkley were on target as Chelsea concluded their tour of Japan with a 2-1 win over Barcelona in China.
Abraham slotted past Marc-Andre ter Stegen to hand the Blues the lead in the second half and Barkley rounded off an encouraging team performance with an effort from 20 yards nine minutes to the end of the game.
Ivan Rakitic scored a late consolation with a stunning strike from 20 yards but the Blues held on to a well-earned victory.
With Barcelona missing Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, Griezmann had the chance to impress following his £107 million move from Atletico Madrid.
Christian Pulisic was also handed his first start in a Chelsea shirt following his switch from Borussia Dortmund, starting on the left side of the attacking midfield.
